DIDIER DIGARD was drafted into the full French squad for a full-scale "Probables v Possibles" practice game this week.

It was the 22-year-old midfielder's first taste of the senior set up, as he rubbed shoulders with the likes of Thierry Henry, William Gallas and Frank Ribery.

Digard was in France preparing for the U21s game with Germany this evening as his team look to qualify for the European Championships next year.

He has impressed with his performances from the bench so far this season and is pushing Gary O'Neil and Mohamed Shawky for a starting place against Chelsea a week on Saturday.
