David Moyes' ongoing contract saga rumbles on as the Everton boss is yet to put pen to paper.

The Scot was widely expected to sign a new deal at Goodison Park last week, but an agreement failed to materialise.

Talks regarding the manager's future have dragged on for some considerable time, although Moyes has always maintained that he has no desire to walk away from the club.

It now appears that the terms on the table require some fine tuning, with the Toffees chief set to sign before a trip to Arsenal on 18th October.

"The contract is still with the lawyers," Moyes revealed.
